An exclusive look at Peter Lindbergh’s personal and artistic journey through his own curated exhibition.

Untold Stories was the first exhibition Peter Lindbergh curated himself, just before his unexpected passing. Held at the Dusseldorf Kunstpalast, it became a platform for his unfiltered creativity and vision. With complete artistic freedom, Lindbergh assembled a bold and revealing collection that casts new light on his vast body of work.

Celebrated globally, Lindbergh’s photographs have profoundly influenced both contemporary culture and photographic history. In this collection, he revisits his own work, crafting fresh narratives while remaining faithful to his unique style. The book includes both iconic and previously unseen images, capturing intimate moments with longtime muses such as Nicole Kidman, Uma Thurman, Robin Wright, Jessica Chastain, Naomi Campbell, Charlotte Rampling, and many others.

This volume features over 100 photographs, many unpublished or rarely seen, originally created for top fashion magazines like Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Interview, Rolling Stone, W Magazine, and The Wall Street Journal. Alongside the images, readers will find an in-depth conversation between Lindbergh and Kunstpalast director Felix Kramer, as well as a tribute by longtime friend Wim Wenders, providing fresh perspectives on the making of this extraordinary collection.

The result is a heartfelt and personal statement from Lindbergh himself, offering an unparalleled insight into his artistic legacy.
